Alendis

Weyr Organiser: Alendis has kept Igen running for the past twenty turns or so. If anyone knows how things work, it's her.

Not-a-Politician: Her skills do not extend towards the political side of leadership, though: subtlety and finesse are not her strongest qualities.

One of the boys: Drinking? Yes? Dicing? Hell yes. Alendis doesn't believe in letting rank stop her from enjoying her downtime.

Mother of dragons: Lycaszaeth has had her fair share of clutches over the turns, and Alendis likes to keep tabs on her dragon's progeny. Did you Impress one of them?

... but not of people: Parenting skills, zero. Actual human progeny? two, both fostered in the caverns at birth and now presumably all grown up.

As tall-- taller!-- as most men, Alendis is built like a tank: there's nothing dainty about this particular powerhouse of a weyrwoman. A mess of dark brown curls halo her weathered face, where bright blue eyes sparkle with keen intelligence. Riding leathers for active duties regularly give away to tailored skirts and jackets for other times; she's never going to be considered pretty, especially now as she stares down middle age, but there's a certain style to her dress all the same.
