• Igen Native: Natively born at Igen and generally has lived under the radar except in the kitchens, where she works -- worked -- prior to Impressing.

• Dragonrider: Impressed in the first clutch of the turn to some chagrin for all parties involved other than Eoventh. Not the most stellar of weyrlings. I mean, look at her.

• Weyrlings: At March they were 5 months or something.

• Speaking of looks: Plagued with baby cheeks, possibly for life. Those who have been at Igen long enough will know she is sometimes hailed as Cheeks or Balloon face. She usually laughs. That's the right response, right?

Born at Igen Weyr. Bred at Igen Weyr. Lo's full name is something written in some records somewhere, but she's so long gone by Lo, even she probably doesn't even remember. A pudgy child, she grew into an awkward teenager, and has settled into young adulthood as someone with the desire to please people, so tends to go with the flow, even at her own expense. She grew up working in the kitchens, learning to make do with what little there was, and following directions. Remember? People pleaser. But she learned things in the kitchen, including how flavors blended together and had the unique talent of tasting things once and being able to piece together what spices had been used in order to recreate dishes. She liked that job a lot. Who wouldn't? Getting to eat things to make sure they tasted palatable?

She was less Searched and more herded towards the sands as the Weyr attempted to make up for a lack of traditional search by able and appropriately aged bodies available to the eggs, and pretty much everyone was as surprised as she was when not so little Eoventh Impressed to her.

She's scared of Thread. She's not entirely sure she wants to be a dragonrider, but loves her dragon. She puts on a good face and pretends to be a good sport about everything, but sometimes wishes she could just hide in the kitchens again. And why is there so much physical exertion in training?

Shaggy bangs mask a broad forehead, and the rest of her hair is constantly pinned back from her face in looped braided buns, so it's never quite clear how long her hair might be. Murky green eyes are set into what the charitable would call a country face with its broad frame, cherubic cheeks, and wide smile. The delicacy of her nose is at odds with the rest of her features, and somehow only makes those cheeks of hers even rounder. Comfort, from her looks down to the tailored elements of her riding leathers, Lo exudes placid pleasantness most days.
