V'riad

• Fort Transfer: V'riad and Djarith showed up as part of J'rias' wing. Congrats?
• Not a great rider: Not that he's announcing this. His and clutchmate Lanelle's WLM died in an accident when the weyrlings were just learning to ride, and the AWLMs weren't nearly as comptetent. Gossip around Fort is that strong-willed Sreyoth was involved somehow (but of course they didn't let Igen know before the trade was made). Like many of their clutchmates, V'riad and Djarith can fly decently for Interval standards, but they need work before they're fighting. Unless Igen just wants Threadfodder, anyway.
• Starcrafter: Coulda, woulda, shoulda. The Craft wasn't happy when a visit home went -- by their standards, if not Djarith's -- badly wrong.
• Homesick: Both the homes.
• String: He plays with it, sometimes when important people are talking. Sometimes it's even useful.
• Boots: He likes good boots. He even takes care of them, though maybe he's a little young for that.
• Baby Brother: An oops kid with a wingleader brother twenty turns older. Does he share J'rias' ambition? Is he just a pawn?
• Djarith: He can't leave well enough alone.

Tall but not substantial, black-haired and dark-complected, V'riad has a face more expressive than is necessarily good for him. He also has good boots.
